What will your job as a CAE, FEM & Stress Engineer involve?
The Engineering Analysis department specialises in simulations and analyses based on the finite element method, and performs activities in a wide range of markets, including the chemical, petrochemical, offshore, automotive, special engineering and food industries. As a CAE, FEM & Stress Engineer, you will collaborate with internal and external clients to achieve an optimum technical design, and bear the responsibility for the technology, quality, budgeting and planning aspects of your projects. You will be responsible for providing the analytical validation needed to ensure the required functionality and integrity of the structure. You will provide your clients and the relevant internal departments with calculation results. The emphasis will be on developing in our organisation with the aim of working in a position that makes optimum use of your capabilities.

You have an engaging and outgoing personality, and are eager to use your creativity and expertise to solve technical issues for major clients and help them to improve their performance. You’re proactive with a flexible attitude. In addition, you hold a university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or a similar discipline. Further requirements:
- Two to four years of relevant work experience in your field is preferred
- Knowledge of FEM packages (such as NX Nastran, Ansys, Femap, HyperMesh or similar)
- Good communication skills
- Team player who also works well independently
- Strong analytical skills and a client-centric attitude
- Good standard of Dutch and English, preferably with fluency in German
