What will your work as a Process Industry Project Leader involve?
The Project Management department focuses on the engineering and realisation of multidisciplinary projects in various industries including paper, water and chemicals. As a Process Industry Project Leader, you will play a pivotal role in supervising and coordinating mainly multidisciplinary projects for a large number of clients in a variety of market segments. In addition to working closely with all stakeholders involved, you will draft proposals, and help the client find solutions at an early stage in order to achieve a good process design and to develop this in more detail. Your responsibilities will also include monitoring and managing the planning and financial progress of the projects assigned to you, as well as staffing the project team, motivating the team members, and managing project support. You will prepare regular project reports and report to the project manager. This is a challenging and dynamic senior role in which you are expected to both lead your team and motivate and inspire your team members.

You have excellent communication skills, a solution-oriented attitude, strong business acumen and are stress-resistant. You have a Bachelor’s degree (HBO) or higher in a technical field. Further requirements:
- Experience in managing technical projects
- Knowledge of manufacturing environments, safety and government regulations and permits, and of industry and clients’ professional standards and regulations
- Experience in the process industry (e.g. paper, water, chemicals or petrochemicals)
- Results-focused conceptual thinker with a flexible attitude
- Ability to develop and translate clients’ needs into a process diagram
- Knowledge of, and experience with, budgeting methods, cost monitoring, planning, and progress methods
- Good standard of spoken and written Dutch and English, preferably with fluency in German.
