The Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering department provides design and consultancy services for electrical and control systems to domestic and international industrial clients.

We are looking for a new Lead Engineer to join our fast-growing High Voltage team. As a Lead Engineer, you will work on multiple projects simultaneously as a member of a team. While involved in these projects, you will maintain contact with our clients.

Job content:

  • Drafting project plans
  • Preparing and coordinating engineering works on main lines
  • Managing multiple engineers and/or draughtspersons
  • Supporting the project manager in monitoring the scope, quality, planning and budget
  • Checking designs, calculations, reports and documents
  • Maintaining contact with our clients’ engineers and lead engineers

Our requirements:

  • A completed higher-vocational-level education (HBO) in electrical engineering or energy engineering
  • A minimum of five years of experience in electrical engineering or energy engineering
  • Experience in and knowledge of medium- and/or high-voltage engineering is preferred
  • Ability to encourage your team members and support them in their development so they can perform their best
  • Client-focused, results-focused and quality-focused
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, ELCAD, design software and MS Office is preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of, and practical experience with, commonly used management reporting techniques (including team management)
  • Team player with a proactive and client-centric attitude and good communication skills
